Homebuyers secure early lots at Atwell community, Plumpton
Eager home-hunters flocked to the new Attwell community in Plumpton, arriving 24 hours before the official launch of sales to set up camp in wait of the first release. The launch saw all blocks sold in the first five minutes as demand heats up in Melbourne’s north-western growth corridor. The arrival of the campers saw all 17 available blocks allocated to the early birds prior to the launch of sales, meaning home-hunters who were keen to secure a block in the first stage of the project will now need to wait for the next release in the coming weeks.
Consisting of 650 blocks set upon abundant parks, waterways and lifestyle amenity, Attwell is ID_Land’s most recent land development, located right next door to the premium suburb of Caroline Springs in Melbourne’s north-west, with nearby access to established facilities including education precincts, retail shopping precincts, community centres and more. The location is a 30-minute commute to Melbourne’s CBD by car and is located within proximity to ample public transport.
According to the City of Melton, the booming new suburb’s population is set to increase by roughly 100 per cent by 2031 to 240,000 people. The area has seen soaring popularity of late, with ID_Land’s Director Jeff Garvey saying the launch of the project couldn’t have come at a better time. “Given its proximity to Caroline Springs and the CBD, and its carefully thought-out master-plan, we had a feeling Atwell might attract a few early home-hunters, but did not expect the incredible turn-out with campers arriving well before the launch of the first release. As Melbourne’s population continues to surge, our master-plan seeks to cater for the needs of the local suburb with a host of planned amenity set among quality land allotments.”
Attwell features blocks starting from an affordable $169,000 and ranging between 138sqm and 459sqm. The community is expected to be home to over 2,000 residents once complete.
